Torvik in Norwegian is Thorvig. Thor, god of Thunder & vig, a bay. Thunderbay. Torvik, who has both graphic design and fine arts training, has refined his graphic design, illustration and photographic abilities over a four decade career. He is both artist and entrepreneur. His mastery of Photoshop has elevated his artistic repertoire allowing him to explore whole new areas of visual creativity and imagination. 

Nationally-known, Torvik has received a variety of graphic and fine art awards throughout his career. His patented gift card line was 

nominated for the New York National Stationery and Gift Show “Best New Product of the Year” and the 

“Best Product Design for ASI” (Advertising Specialty Institute).
